POLICE who entered an unoccupied house after a report of intruders found one man hiding under the kitchen sink and another in a cupboard.
Blackburn magistrates heard doors to the property had been forced but Barry Michael Duffy claimed that had been done before he and his friend arrived at the house.
Duffy, 27, of Sydney Street, Darwen, pleaded guilty to burglary at a house in Portland Street with intent to steal. He was sent on bail to Preston Crown Court to be sentenced.
