A WELL-known wedding venue, part of which dates back to the mid-17th century, could be redeveloped for housing under a new phased scheme.
London-based MAC-RK Engineering is behind a number of related planning applications for the picturesque Scaitcliffe Hall, off Burnley Road, Todmorden.

The firm want to convert the main hall and annexe into six new homes, transform a historic barn into two further properties and demolish a more modern addition to erect terraced-style homes.
The coach house in the grounds, which was built in 1850, and an earlier barn, which was first constructed in 1809, will also be converted for housing, with the work to begin with a row of 10 more terraced properties in part of the grounds.
