A BURNLEY shopkeeper has been fined £800 after he was caught selling cigarettes without the proper health warnings attached.
Arshad Mahmood, 55, of Colne Road, was prosecuted by county-council trading-standards services after a raid on M&M off-licence in Athol Street South.

He appeared before Pennine magistrates and admitted supplying ten packs of Mayfair cigarettes on May 19 last year, and 17 packs of Golden Virginia tobacco and seven packs of President cigarettes on July 17. He must pay £200 costs.
