HOMES in Burnley and Padiham are without running water this morning after a United Utilities glitch.
Residents in Berkeley Crescent and Bridge Street, both in Padiham, were among those who reported problems, although the exact number of properties affected remains unclear.

United Utilities confirmed that it was aware of the issue, which has affected customers in the BB12 area since 6am.
A spokesman said: "Customers may have noticed that the water is coming out of your tap slower than usual or may have gone off altogether. We have one of our inspectors looking into this at the moment and as soon as we know what the cause of the problem is we’ll let you know.
"We’re sorry about this and will try and get your taps flowing normally as quickly as we can."
