A YOUNG sex offender who exposed himself to two young girls via a mobile phone has been locked up over the Christmas and New Year period.
Aaron Kucukcan, 20, was arrested after failing to notify the police of his whereabouts as a registered sex offender and was brought before Burnley Crown Court.
Defence counsel Richard Taylor said that his client effectively now did not have a fixed address and could not be bailed ahead of being sentenced in early 2015.
Kucukcan, formerly of Derby Street, Colne, had admitted pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to the notification offences and failing to comply with a community order.
He appeared before the same crown court in February when he was convicted of exposing himself to a 16-year-old and her younger sister during a Facetime connection.
Remanding the defendant in custody until January 7, Recorder Nicholas Clarke, QC, said he may well face a custodial sentence for breaching his notification requirements.
