POLICE are appealing for information after a man was threatened with a hammer during a street robbery in Blackburn.
The 39-year-old victim was walking along Duckworth Street, at around 6:30pm on Monday, when he was approached by two men who threatened him with a hammer.

The men made off with an iPhone 5 down Galligreaves Street, onto Harrison Street.
One of the men is described as white, 6ft tall, of a slim build thought to be around 20-years-old. He was wearing a dark hooded jacket at the time of the incident.
The second man is described as white, around 5ft 10 tall with blonde hair and thought to be around 20-years-old.
He was wearing a dark blue baseball cap and a grey jacket with dark pockets.
DC Neil Pugh of Blackburn Police said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the incident who could have vital information to help us with our enquiries and identify the two men who may be linked to this violent robbery.”
