A CONCRETE wagon toppled over during repair work at a reservoir near Edgworth.

United Utilities and contractors launched an investigation into yesterday morning’s accident at Wayoh Reservoir, but said no-one was injured. The wagon’s boom appeared to be fully extended when it toppled.

A spokesman for the firm said a contractor, Hapton-based Hardy Services, had been undertaking repairs to the spillway when the front of vehicle collapsed.
