His family and friends, said Mr Jangaria would be missed by the whole Shear Brow community and was well known for lending a hand to elderly neighbours and relatives.

The married 53-year-old worked for TNT in Leyland and devoted his spare time to his sons Ayaz, six, and Ahmed, seven.

His nephew, Faz Patel said: “He was well known in the local community, he used to always help people out.

“He would help by giving people lifts, or sorting out people’s problems.

“Noor had a really big heart, and he was always helping elderly people.

“He was a rebel in his youth, but he was a very gentle guy with a big heart.

“He loved his children, he was very, very fond of his kids. He took them everywhere this summer, to Alton Towers, to Blackpool, to Botany Bay and to London.

“It’s so sad. The kids were looking for Daddy.

”It’s a shock, I still can’t believe it, everything has happened so fast.”

As well as his young sons, Mr Jangaria is survived by his wife Habiba Jangaria, and his parents. Mr Patel added: “He was the only son, the only boy in the family.

“They are all devastated.”

A funeral service for Mr Jangaria was held earlier this week at Pleasington. His father, Moosa Jangaria, said: “We would like to thank everyone at this time for their support and their help.”

Mr Patel added: “I would like to thank all of the communities for their support during this difficult time. I want to thank everyone from all faiths who sent messages, for their prayers, and for remembering him.”
