A WEDDING video captured by an East Lancashire cameraman has gone viral after it attracted more than 50,000 hits on YouTube.

Christian Porter, from Barrowford, filmed Joey Boyes’ hilarious version of Let It Go from the Disney film Frozen, and the clip has been shared another 50,000 times on Facebook.

Mr Boyes, whose mum Rosalyn is from Clitheroe, spent six months perfecting the tune, which saw him adapt lyrics to refer to the newlyweds Dominic Clark and Becky Badger.

But ‘Best Man Joe’ said the couple were unaware of the attention the video had received – because they have gone on their honeymoon to America.

Mr Boyes, 27, said: “We’re lifelong friends and I thought it would be a good way to mark the day.

“I couldn’t touch a drop of alcohol before the speech because I was so nervous.”

The bar owner, whose auntie and uncle, Magdalene and Tom Barrett, run Magdalene House Nursing home in Shear Bank Road, Blackburn, plans to make the song available to download for charity.

Mr Porter, 31, who recorded the four-minute clip on his iPhone, said: “I was filming the main speech but had no idea what was about to occur, “When I uploaded it we joked about getting 100 likes.

“Then I woke up the next day and I couldn’t believe it when there were thousands of likes.”
