CLARETS fans are being invited to a fun day at Turf Moor today ahead of a friendly game against Italian side Hellas Verona.

The free event, which takes place from noon until 2.15pm on the Turf Moor car park, will include a variety of activities for all the family.

Face painting, bouncy castles, a display of high performance cars courtesy of Bowker BMW, a bike riding course and a rock climbing wall are just some of the features laid on for supporters of all ages prior to the 3pm kick off.

Further football-related activities will also be located in the Elite Training Centre, where fans can test their skills with target-shooting inflatables and even play football on the 5 a-side pitch.

And there will be a guest appearance from fans' favourite Bertie Bee and even special appearances from some of the Clarets squad.

Burnley Football Club in the Community, as well as local charities Pendleside Hospice, The Fraser Street Project and Ribble Rivers Trust, will also be in attendance to present exciting opportunities for children to get involved in.

Refreshments will also be available.

Tickets for the game against Hellas Verona cost £10 for adults, £5 for concessions and £1 for juniors.
