FAMILIES are invited to enjoy a day of free fun and activities at Chorley’s annual Playday on Wednesday, August 6.
Playday offers four hours of family fun at Coronation Recreation Ground, Devonshire Road.
Taking place from 11am until 3pm, there will be football,circus skills, a play area, painting wall, Punch and Judy and a teddy bear’s picnic at 12.30pm.
Playday is part of a growing calendar of events organised by Chorley Council for the summer and is part of a national initiative.
It aims to raise the importance and profile of children’s play and encouraging children and their families to enjoy a day out.
There is also Playtime in Astley Park on Wednesday, August 27 as well.
