A PETITION calling for the reduction of large-scale housing developments in Longridge has been presented to Ribble Valley Borough Council.

Representatives of the ‘Save Longridge’ group presented the petition, signed by more than 1,000 Longridge residents to a recent meeting of the full council.

It has been backed by Nigel Evans MP as well as Longridge councillors Ken Hind, Jim White and Stuart Carefoot.

Mr Evans will give a copy of the petition to planning minister, Brandon Lewis MP.

It won't make a bit of difference, Brandon Lewis will have shares in Taylor Wimpey, Barratt Homes and many more. He's probably a buy to let landlord too, with properties he's paid for through his expenses. all paid for by us.
