THE future of a Ribble Valley housing campaign group is to be decided this month.
The Save Whalley Village Action Group will hold its annual general meeting on Monday, June 23, in the Methodist Church from 7.30pm.
The future of the group, set up to campaign against large housing developments, will be debated.
New officers are also set to be elected. Chairman, Nick Walker, has yet to decide if he will stand again.
He said: “What’s done is done and we just hope that no more large housing developments are planned for the village.
“We have done what we set out to do and the core strategy is set to be signed off soon.
“There are members who want to continue and we will have to see what the members think.”
