WORK has begun on a £4million development to build 46 new homes in Pendle.
Developer Mulbury Homes said the mix of two and three-bedroom houses would ‘revitalise’ a vacant 2.3 acre site off Valley Road, Barnoldswick.
The site compromises open land between allotments and a private car park used by bed firm Silentnight.
Greg Mulligan, director of Mulbury Homes, said: “This is the latest in a number of schemes we have developed on behalf of Housing Pendle, helping to increase the supply of affordable housing, and regenerating communities across the region.
“We’re confident that all residents in the area will benefit greatly from the development which has been designed to complement existing homes.”
