ARTISTIC creations, make-up and hair will be showcased on Blackburn Market throughout the rest of the year, as students from Blackburn College begin a series of monthly demonstrations.
The team from the media make up course level two and course level three chose an ‘Under the Sea’ theme for the first event which took place on Friday, May 16.
Course lecturer and freelance makeup artist, Ruth Moulden, said: “The market provides the perfect opportunity for the students to gain hands on practical experience in a busy, vibrant public space while providing a spectacle for shoppers.
“It will give a chance for students to display how talented and creative they can be.”
Make up and hair demonstrations will continue to take place in Blackburn Market on Friday,June 6, Friday, July 4, Friday, September 5, Saturday, September 13, Friday, October 3, Friday, November 28.
