A 25-YEAR-OLD Clitheroe woman accepted phoning her ex-partner 10 times in as many minutes in breach of a non-molestation order.

Blackburn magistrates heard Laura Jane Robinson did not accept that in the course of the first call she made threats towards Ashley Treanor, his new partner and their property.

Robinson, of Holden Street, Clitheroe, pleaded guilty to breaching the non-molestation order. The case was adjourned for evidence to be called after District Judge James Clark said the content of the call would have an affect on sentence.

“I am of the view that threats to harm people and property would make a difference to sentence,” he said.

Ian Huggan, defending, said his client’s denied making any threats.

“They were having a discussion about the children and he put the phone down,” said Mr Huggan. “She called back on a number of occasions but he didn’t answer.”
