BURNLEY stars were mobbed by fans when they popped into Burnley town centre.
Star striker Danny Ings, full-back Kieran Trippier, goalkeeper Tom Heaton, and midfielder David Jones posed for pictures, and chatted with fans of all ages.
The fantastic four, who all helped the team clinch promotion back to the Premier League after a four-year absence, arrived at photography shop Max Spielmann just before 5.30pm yesterday, after finishing an afternoon’s training in preparation for the final game of the season, at Reading on Saturday.
Hundreds of young children were among the crowds decked out in claret and blue hoping to secure a photo with one of their heroes.
After the event, the four returned to Turf Moor for the supporters’ Player of the Year Awards night.
