CORONER’S officials have issued an appeal for the next of kin of a former East Lancashire woman to come forward.

Bernadette Shepherd, 47, died of natural causes at her home in Garfield Street, Todmorden, on April 3.

An appeal has now been made by Halifax Coroner’s Office to trace the relatives of Ms Shepherd, who is originally from the Blackburn area and the principal carer for her brother Damien.

She is said to have a sister, Gabrielle Lee, last known to live in Woodbine Road, Blackburn, three years ago.

Mrs Lee or anyone with information about how to contact her can call Rod Holmes at the coroner's office on 01422 354606.
