A FAMILY had more than £3,200 of property and cash stolen from their Nelson home.
Thieves broke into the house in Whitehough Place after climbing over the garden fence at the back.
They smashed a window and opened a window latch.
The burglars searched the premises and stole an iPhone 5, an iPhone 4, a Sony PSP games console, a Sony PlayStation 3, an iPad They also took a driving licence and an identity card and a handbag, as well as around £1,800 in cash, and a set of car keys.
The car was not parked locally and was not stolen. The incident happened between 4pm and 9pm on Tuesday, April 1.
Anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious, or knows anything about the incident, is asked to call police on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
