A CARE home worker helped himself to more than £1,100 from a 90-year-old disabled resident, leaving her distraught.

Burnley Crown Court was told Ashley Jordan, 28, then a senior carer at White Ash Brook Nusing Home in Oswaldtwistle, took the pensioner to buy an outfit for her granddaughter's wedding, but kept her bank card and repeatedly used it.
