HEALTH commissioners said East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust has now made ‘large amounts of information’ available to provide reassurance that improvements are being made.
The trust has been in special measures since July and East Lancashire Clinical Commissioning Group said there was a lack of information provided in January about the action being taken, but said this has now been rectified.
Board papers added: “The recent submission of evidence appears to be of a higher quality and demonstrating more rapid progress in all Quality Assurance areas over the last two months. The full analysis of this is currently under way.”
