ROSSENDALE and Darwen MP Jake Berry is urging musicians and filmmakers to enter a contest to showcase their talent in Parliament.

They have till the end of the month to enter two of Westminster’s biggest competitions, ‘Rock the House’ and ‘Film the House’.

Both offer the chance for East Lancashire’s creative minds to have their work judged by the leading lights of industry and win prizes ranging from festival slots, studio time, equipment and the opportunity to have their work premiered in London’s West End.

Mr Berry said: “We have a wealth of talented individuals and this competition is the perfect opportunity for them to be showcased their skills.

“There’s just a few days left to enter and I want to encourage budding film directors and musicians to apply for this contest, which has the potential to take their careers to the next level.”
