CLITHEROE Health Centre has been left without power following a cable fault this afternoon.
Sixteen properties in total have been affected by the power cut shortly before 12.30pm today.
Engineers from Electricity North West are currently in the Ribble Valley town attempting to repair the fault and replace fuses in a substation.
The affected properties are in Railway View Road, Station Road and King Street.
The East Lancashire Clinical Commissioning Group has advised patients to continue to attend their appointments despite the power cut.
The group has said that GPs will continue to see patients despite having no access to electronic records.
Back-up paper records are currently being used.
