A TECHNICAL system which promises to improve security and efficiency across a broad range of hospital services is due to be rolled out in Lancashire.
The electronic NerveCentre system will replace paper-based processes, enabling patient information to be communicated more effectively and information to be recorded in one central location.
The system is also set to increase safety by allowing staff to trigger an alarm and be located to the nearest metre at any time. Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust is planning to pilot the system later in the year.
