GARDENING volunteers are needed to help tend the grounds of Pendle Heritage Centre.
The 18th Century walled garden at the centre, in Barrowford, is under development by volunteers.
A spokesman for the centre, in Colne Road, said: “Several years ago the land which the garden occupies was overgrown and disused.
“Thanks to the hard work and dedication of local volunteers, and dedicated staff, the land was cleared, and the beginnings of a garden have been formed.
“The time, experience and ideas of volunteers are a very important aspect to the development of our garden.
“There are many ways you can get involved – planting, sowing seeds, repairing fences, or weeding.”
