OFFICERS are warning that the cash machine at the Co-op store in Market Street, Colne, appears to have been targeted by thieves.

The two men appear to have fitted a device to obtain card details and then use it to withdraw cash.

It appears that the offenders are repeatedly targeting the same cash machines.

The offenders are described as two males working together, who are aged between 20 and 30-years-old.

They have been seen sitting in the bus stop opposite the store, then one of them fits the device with the other keeping lookout.

The men then observe from the bus stop, before one takes the cash whilst the other keeps look out.

Residents in the area are being warned to be vigilant. Anyone who sees any suspicious activity can contact police by calling 101.
