Lancashire Telegraph: Thousands of Burnley residents given advice to slash bills Thousands of Burnley residents given advice to slash bills

A SOCIAL landlord in Burnley has created a leaflet with helpful tips on how to save energy and keep fuel bills low.

Calico Homes, which has 4,600 homes in the Pennine area, has published a booklet called ‘Stay Warm with Calico’, which is available on request.

The pamphlet also provides information about Calico’s Money Wise team, who help customers compare energy providers via their ‘My Home Energy Switch’ tool.

Sarah Jefferson, Gas Coordinator for the organisation, said: “Increasingly, people are struggling with their home energy costs. “We know many of our customers are concerned, and we want to make sure that they are saving as much money as they can, as safely as they can.

“We hope that the booklet will help make life easier for customers during the bad weather conditions we’ve experienced recently.

“If customers have any queries or concerns, we would always encourage them to get in touch with us.”

To request a copy of the ‘Stay Warm with Calico’ booklet, or for more information, visit calico.org.uk, or call 0800 169 2407, or 01282 686300.
