TWO new directors have been appointed at Lancashire’s mental health trust.

Naseem Malik and Louise Dickinson will join the board of Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust as non-executive directors.

Naseem is a lawyer by background and has a number of years’ experience in the public sector.

She has also previously held a non-executive role at the former Blackburn with Darwen Primary Care Trust.

Louise has held a number of board level executive roles in the financial services industry, with key leadership responsibilities in finance, business intelligence and risk management.

Chairman Derek Brown said: "On behalf of the trust we are delighted to welcome our two new non-executive directors to the trust and look forward to working with them and benefiting from their experiences.

“Both Naseem and Louise have the skills necessary to drive the trust’s vision forward and we’re looking forward to hearing their perspectives and learning new skills from them.”
