A DRUNKEN man who went to his ex-girlfriend’s home to ‘sleep it off’ was arrested after she called police.
Blackburn magistrates heard Paul Anthony Creasey was asleep on the settee when officers arrived but was in breach of a restraining order simply by being in the house.
Creasey, 30, of Stonyhurst Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to breaching the order and was fined £110 with £20 costs.
Andrew Church-Taylor, defending, said:“She invited him to her house, let him in and he immediately fell asleep on the settee,” said Mr Church-Taylor. “That is the full extent of the breach.”
