A BLACKBURN football team welcomed the delivery of a new kit donated by Blackburn Rovers.

Mill Hill Diversity Football Team are on a winning streak after winning the Lancashire Telegraph Grass Roots Heroes senior team of the year award last week.

The team also took the opportunity to show Blackburn Rovers assistant manager Terry McPhillips the Grass Roots Trophy, and the Lancashire FA Ability Counts Championship Winners 2012/2013 trophy.

Well done Mill Hill Diversity and well done the Rovers for helping out the local community. I remember that the club used to do similar kit donations in the seventies and early eghties but that all stopped when we had more success later.
