A RIBBLE Valley pub has been named the Lancashire Pub of the Year for the second time in three years.
The Swan With Two Necks owner, Steve Dilworth, left, was presented with the award by West Pennine Campaign For Real Ale regional director Ray Jackson outside the pub in Pendleton on Sunday.
The pub previously won the CAMRA award in 2011. It is now waiting to hear whether it has won the national award, with the results expected to be announced at the end of the month.
The family-run business came second in the national competition in 2011 and is determined to go one step further this time.
Ahead of the presentation, Steve said that he was keeping ‘everything crossed’ that the pub would pick up the national award this time around.
CAMRA officials have visited the pub anonymously recently, assessing it on the quality of its real ale.
