A MAN was taken to hospital following a crash on Kelbrook Road in Pendle on Saturday afternoon.
The accident happened just before 12.30pm near Kelbrook roundabout when a stationary vehicle was shunted from behind.
One person was trapped in the vehicle and had to be freed by firefighters using cutting equipment.
The man was complaining of back pain and was taken to hospital. His injuries were not thought to be serious.
The road was closed for 45 minutes while the vehicle was recovered by the fire service.
