A TEENAGER was left with a cut and broken teeth after being assaulted.

The 16-year-old was attacked over what police believe to be a dispute over a taxi in Clitheroe.

The offender got out of a taxi in Castle Gate in the town centre and punched the victim, who was from Skipton, before walking off.

He was taken to Burnley General Hospital suffering from a cut and broken teeth and was later discharged.

The offender was white, in his 20s, 5ft 10ins, medium build, wearing a dark suit and a hat.

The incident happened between midnight and 12.45am on November 24.

PC Matt Caton, of Clitheroe police, said: “I would appeal for anyone who saw this incident or who has any information to get in touch with us.”
