A MEMBER of the royal family is to visit a Ribble Valley hotel in the New Year.
Ferrari’s Country House Hotel will welcome Princess Alexandra, the Hon Lady Ogilvy, who will be attending a charity day on February 7.
The day will be raising money for the Alexandra Rose Charity, Lancashire First Responders and the North-West Air Ambulance.
The event will also raise money for Longridge Community Hospital and Great Eccleston Cancer Research.
Management at the hotel, which is in Chipping Lane, Thornley, near Chipping, have said that more details about the event will be released in the New Year.
Princess Alexandra is the youngest granddaughter of King George V and Queen Mary and she is 44th in the line of succession.
