A WOMAN was taken to hospital after crashing her car on Accrington Road in Hapton earlier today.

The car, believed to be a black Ford Fiesta, flipped onto its side in a bush near the Harvester restaurant.

Paramedics, police and the fire service were called to the scene, and the 21-year-old woman, from Burnley, was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital with minor injuries.

It would actually appear that 2 idiots were racing each other and as a result of their selfish dangerous driving an innocent motorist minding her own business had to take evasive action which resulted in her vehicle losing control and ending up on its side. Thankfully she only appeared to have suffered very minor injuries.
