THE Grand in Clitheroe will host a special solo performance from Johnny Bramwell on February 28 and tickets are on sale now.
Johnny Bramwell is the lead singer and guitarist of Manchester’s I Am Kloot, one of the city’s best loved bands and arguably the one of the most revered by Mancunians themselves.
John put I Am Kloot together 15 years ago, with bassist Pete Jobson and drummer Andy Hargreaves, and listeners held the band close to their heart because of their sparse arrangements.
Bramwell’s songwriting is accomplished and has been lauded for it’s honesty and wit.
This intimate ‘evening with’ show is said to be a contrast to the band’s ever more expansive band shows and hopes to provide the audience the opportunity to get up close and personal to one of modern music’s most prolific and gifted song writers.
Doors will open at 7pm and tickets are £15 from the box office.
