A MINIBUS for community use is now available from St James’s Church in Clitheroe.
The new service is advertised in the ‘People and Places’ section of the Christmas issue of Blackburn Church of England’s Diocesese’s monthly magazine The See.
The parish hopes it will help local organisations with trips.
Jo Pellet, youth leader for the church’s 11 to 14-year-olds group, said: “We have often struggled to provide our various youth groups with trips outside of Clitheroe, limiting the experiences open to them through us.
“Now we can offer our young people an exciting, diverse and affordable programme of events and activities.
“The need for small group use at the church developed the idea to roll out the resource for the wider community for a nominal cost.
“So if your charitable organisation or voluntary group needs transport please don’t hesitate to contact the Church Office on 01200 423608.”
