TIME is running out to nominate someone worthy of being named East Lancashire’s Christmas Angel.

The Lancashire Telegraph has teamed up with The Mall Blackburn and Blackburn Market to offer one lucky winner a complete Christmas with more than 30 great prizes.

Loraine Jones, general manager at The Mall Blackburn, said: "We have had some fantastic entries for our Christmas Angel competition but we know that there are also lots of other people out there that deserve recognition for what they do.

"This year's prize is the best one yet, so I would urge people to nominate their very own Christmas Angel to make sure they are in with a chance of winning.

"It can be anyone, from a terrific teacher who has really helped a pupil to a child that has been brave in the face of adversity or someone that always goes the extra mile to help those that need it.

“We are looking for a very special person to receive this prize so if you know someone that fits the bill this is your last chance to give them the recognition they deserve."

To nominate someone you believe is worthy of the title Christmas Angel, complete the nomination form, outlining your reasons in 30 words or fewer.

Entries can be dropped off at the Ask Me point in The Mall Blackburn or the Lancashire Telegraph offices in High Street, Blackburn. The closing date for entries is 5pm on Monday.
