A JUNIOR school has been rated as one of the top UK institutions.
Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School has featured in the Sunday Times Parent Power School Guide.
The Blackburn school was listed as in the top 100 prep schools in the country based on end of Key Stage 2 SATs results over the last three years.
Junior School head Alison Wharmby said: "It is a remarkable achievement and we were placed 62nd out of 100.
“I would like to say congratulations to all the staff and children in our Junior School."
