A PARAGLIDER who died in an accident on Pendle Hill has been named.

Rob Kirkbride, 48, from Lytham, plunged 30ft to his death on Wednesday.

Mr Kirkbride was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after noon.

His partner Angela Feehan said: “The only thing that we can take any comfort from is knowing that he died doing something he loved.”
