VISITORS to Clitheroe on Saturday night are set for a reminder of the dangers of drink driving or driving under the influence of drugs.
The session, which will take place in the town centre, will also cover how easy it is to still be impaired the next morning.
Officers from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service will offer advice and speak from experience of the incidents they attend each year in which people are killed or injured due to drink and drug driving.
A layby near the White Lion Pub in Market Street will show the car driven by Matthew Alston, from Read, who tragically died in 2010 when he drove the morning after a night out. Matthew's parents work closely with Lancashire County Council's Wasted Lives campaign which has educated over 50,000 young people about the consequences of drink driving.
