Railway rambling lecture to be held in Clitheroe

AN illustrated lecture on railway walks is set to be held in Clitheroe.

The event has been organised by the Clitheroe District of the Lancashire County Library service.

The talk will be given by Steve Williams on Tuesday from 7.30pm at Clitheroe Library in Church Street.

The lecture will cover a selection of walks along a number of disused railways in Lancashire.

It will also feature walks in the Lake District and Belgium.

Tickets for the event cost £2 and are available from the library.
