Haslingden son banned from family home damaged back gate
2:22pm Friday 27th September 2013 in News
A CROOK banned from his father’s house ended up in the dock again after forcing open, and damaging, the back garden gate.
Burnley magistrates heard how Sajid Hussain, 24, was not welcome at the family home because of ‘drug and drink problems’.
He had been banging and kicking the front door, and then went and did the same round the back. His father called police and Hussain ran away down an alley before officers arrived. He returned a short time later, again banging and kicking the front door, and then forced the wooden gate, causing £30 damage.
Hussain, of Manchester Road, Haslingden, admitted damage, on September 23. Hussain, who has 36 offences on his record, was fined £35, and must pay £85 costs, £30 compensation, and a £20 victim surcharge.
