Neighbourhood officers urge East Lancashire residents to attend PACT meetings
2:25pm Wednesday 25th September 2013 in News
NEIGHBOURHOOD police officers are urging East Lancashire residents to attend monthly meetings in their wards.
Police and Communities Together (PACT) meetings are taking place for all wards during October, and officers are urging people to come forward with their concerns, so they can tackle them.
A police spokesman said: “Through initiatives like PACT, it is our aim to identify local concerns and tackle them. Where we know there is a clear problem, we can take action - and we do.
“All we ask is that people come along to the next PACT meeting to see us and to discuss with us any crime and disorder issues they may have.”
