BURNLEY Cricket Club’s second cricket team, led by Tesh Desai raised £170 for autism charities by wearing pink whilst playing their final home game at Turf Moor in Burnley.
Davinia Walker from Burnley charity Autism and Social Communication Awareness said: “Not only did this raise money.
“But it was also just another way of promoting a positive feeling around this condition which sometimes carries a stigma or is something that people just don`t like talking about.
“Tesh is just an active supporter.
“And he wants to raise the awareness in a positive manner.
“This is now the second time in 6 months that Tesh has been involved in raising money for autism.”
