LANCASHIRE County Council has agreed a number of changes to parking restrictions in Rawtenstall and Haslingden.
A restriction on the north side of Haslingden Old Road, Rawtenstall, preventing vehicles from parking or waiting on Sundays has been shortened.
Some restrictions on New Street, Haslingden, preventing parking for longer than 30 minutes have been lifted and a disabled parking bay will also be introduced.
On John Street, Haslingden, changes have been made near the junction with Union Street to allow delivery vehicles better access to the Co-operative store.
The measures have been implemented to improve road safety and allow residents to park more easily near their homes.
County Coun John Fillis, cabinet member for highways and transport, said: “I'm glad we've been able to listen to people in Haslingden and will provide more parking for a number of households around Haslingden Old Road and New Street, and also allow better parking for the Co-op and improve safety on John Street.”
