Burnley beer and music festival to take place this week
4:07pm Tuesday 3rd September 2013 in News
THE second Burnley beer and music festival takes place at the Mechanics Theatre from Thursday to Saturday this week.
There will be over 90 real ales, selected ciders, perries, fruit beer, wine and soft drinks available for visitors to sample.
Organisers will create a real festival atmosphere, with live music, festival glasses, food and much more on offer.
Coun John Harbour, Burnley Council’s executive member for leisure and culture, said: “We’re really pleased to be welcoming CAMRA back for the second beer festival, which we hope will become an annual fixture on the Burnley events calendar.
“Last year we welcomed thousands of guests and had some really positive feedback, so we hope that many more get the date in their diary for what will be a great weekend.”
Tickets cost £3 a day, and £1 for NUS and CAMRA members.
Doors to the Mechanics will open at 12pm and close at 11pm.
