Sexual health advice for East Lancashire people
6:00pm Wednesday 28th August 2013 in News
A NEW ‘Summer Lovin’ campaign is urging people to visit their local sexual health clinic for free advice.
Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust wants over 16s to talk about their sexual health and access their services for ‘non-judgemental help and advice’.
Donna Welch, a community sexual health development lead, said: “We are handing out limited edition Summer Lovin’ information packs throughout East Lancashire in order to encourage people to find out about their local contraceptive and sexual health services.
“It’s really important that people have access to quality services and factual information in order for them to make informed choices about their sexual health.”
The initiative was launched in Burnley town centre this week, with free information packs given out to young people.
The trust provides contraceptive, psychosexual and vasectomy services, as well as genito-urinary medicine and chlamydia screening.
