Volunteer groups that help Hyndburn's elderly are invited to join programme
12:38pm Wednesday 28th August 2013 in News
LOCAL volunteer groups working with the elderly in East Lancashire have been invited to apply to become Hyndburn Council’s partner in the Fulfilling Lives: Ageing Better programme.
The selected partner will work together on the ‘vision and strategy’ under the Big Lottery Funded programme.
Voluntary and community sector organisations must meet criteria, which includes being established in England, having a UK-based bank account, being able to provide a letter of endorsement from a parent organisation or its most recent accounts or projections.
Shortlisted organisations will deliver a presentation of how they will develop the partnership and their vision and strategy, on Tuesday, September 10, at Burnley Community Fire Station.
Organisations that want to be considered should email email@example.com before 12pm on Tuesday, September 3.
