Blackburn with Darwen health chief asks for healthcare feedback
12:05pm Thursday 15th August 2013 in News
BLACKBURN with Darwen health chief Joe Slater wants to hear people’s experiences of health care in the towns.
The chairman of the borough’s clinical commissioning group will be at Ivy Street Community Centre in Blackburn, from 2 to 4pm on Monday.
He will also meet patients at the Barbara Castle Way Health Centre, between 10am and noon on Thursday, August 29.
He said: “This is part of our pledge to listen to and involve local people in how we plan, commission and monitor the quality of services.
“Patient feedback, whether positive or negative, is valuable information.
“Compliments help us to know what is working well so we can encourage the spread of good practice.
“Concerns can allow us to identify at an early stage when there is potential deterioration in services and provide opportunities to put things right.”
You can book an appointment at the Ivy Street event by contacting Pauline Milligan on 01254 282118, or by contacting her at Pauline.milligan @blackburnwithdarwenccg.nhs.uk
